To Charles MORRIS Esquire Chief Surveyor of Lands You are forthwith by yourself or deputy to admeasure & lay out unto Daniel LYMAN, George DUNBAR & James FRENCH One thousand each, and to Harry JACKSON, Nehemiah ROGERS, Colin CAMPBELL, Monson HOYT, Dugald CAMPBELL, Oliver PECK, William FRENCH & Roger BARTON five hundred & fifty acres and to Andrew MAXWELL, Hawes HATCH & Archibald McLEAN eight hundred acres, being in the whole nine Thousand eight hundred acres, and to Seven non-commission & twenty one privates Three thousand & nine hundred acres agreeable to the annexed lists, on the River St. Johns, and make a due return of your doings thereon into the Office of the Secretary of the Province within six months from the date hereof with a plot or description hereunto annexed, also to certify the nature & quality of said Lands according to His Majestys instructions, and for so doing this shall be your Warrant. Given under my Hand at Hallifax this 17th Feby. 1784
