This is to certify that Hannah TOMLINSON the Bearer has been of every Service in her Power to Government, more particularly in assisting, & secreting our Troops (who had fallen into the Hands of the Enemy) that wished to escape from them & to return to us, and by the means of this good Woman (& her Husband who had been tried for his Life, & is now bound over by the Enemy) were enabled to effect their Purpose.
