You will be so good on receipt of this letter to find out where Captn. BARRY of the Volrs. of Ireland lodges & Signifie to him my Orders for his being in Arrest at large and Inform him he is to be brought to a Court Martial on his Arrival in South Carolina, you will also Inform him that the principal Crimes alledged against him are first for Disobedience of Orders, Secondly for Insolent and contemptuous behaviour Towards his Commanding Officers Thirdly for ungrounded and Infamous charges publickly alledged by him against his Lieutenant Coll. and for Publickly and dangerous Threatnings by him made against his Lieutenant Colonel.

I give him this long warning that he may have time to prepare his Defence as his Arrest is made at large, he is to Inform you of his place of Residence.
