New York 15th March 1782

This is to certify, that Captain Adam CHRYSTIE with his Troop of West Florida Royal Foresters, was on Actual Service under my Command in West florida, his conduct and spirited behavior during the siege of Pensacola, met with my entire Approbation, and he is justly entitled to receive the contingent allowance for a Troop of Dragoons from the 1st day of January 1781, being the period he was paid up to, in West Florida, by Lieutenant GORDON, Deputy Inspector of Provincials.
