Pensacola 31st May 1779 Received from the Honble Andrew RAINSFORD Esquire John MITCHELL, Robert TAIT, Alexander MACULLOGH and David HOLMS Esquires, Commissioners for Exercising the office of His Majestys Sole agent for and Superintendant of Indian affairs a set of Bills of Exchange of this date on the Right Honble The Lords Commissioners of His Majestys Treasury at thirty days for the above sum of Four Hundred and Seventy four pounds eighteen Shillings Sterling in full of the above Pay Bill — having Signed four Receipts of this tenor and date.
