The Memorial of Benjn. M. WOOLSEY Cornet Queens Rangers Sheweth That your Memorialist on his Passage to Virginia under the Command of Brigr. General ARNOLD lost at sea two valuable Horses, for which he has not received Government’s allowance, Altho his claims were laid before a Board of Inspectors ordered by Your Excellency and approved of. Your Memorialist begs leave to add that Officers of the 17th Dragoons and British Legion in similar Instances were paid Sixteen pounds Pr. Horse lost as your Memorialist conceives he has an equal right with them to allowances. Begs your Excellency will please to Order him payment for said Horses and your memorialist as in duty bound will pray.
