Head Qrs. New York, 29th September 1781 Sir, Commodore AFFLICK having represented that a Boat belonging to the Naval Hospital on Long-Island, was run away with from thence and carried over to Communipa, where she had been Seized and detained by the Refugees under your Command, It is the Commander in Chief’s Orders, that you order her to be immediately delivered up to the Commodore, or the Officer having charge of the Naval Hospital.
