Head Quarters Fish Kill

I do hereby acknowledge myself a Prisoner of War to the United States of America and do Pledge myself to Liberate Captain Daniel Williams of Colo Grayhams Regiment of Militia, of the State of New York, now a prisoner on Long Island within Twenty Two days from the date hereof, or to Return and deliver myself up to the Officer Commanding the left Wing of the American Army, within the time above specifyed, and I do further bind myself upon Parole, not to give directly or indirectly, any Information to any Person, or Persons whatsoever of, or to do any matter or thing which can in any way Injure the cause of the United States of America, as witness my hand the 24th day of February 1780-
