Huntington Novemr. 19 1777 Sir Br. General DeLANCEY's first Battalion has Orders to march from this place to quarter in Jamaica, they will leave this, next Saturday morning, & be in Jamaica. The Day after, you will accordingly be pleased to provide Quarters for one General Officer, one Colonel, one Major, 7 Captains, 4 Lieutenants, 6 Ensigns, 1 Surgeon, 1 Surgeons Mate, & 250 Non-Commissioned Officers & Privates. You will provide commodious lodgings for 40 sick of the above Number, & also order fuel to be ready at the Quarters.
