Recommended by Captain MONIN-
Recommended by Capt. BOUCHERVILLE-
I do not recollect any young Men of the Town and the environs, who has any Pretensions to be Added to this List, except Monsieur LATTABERRY of Beauport, who has from the beginning shewen himself very zealous, and was wounded at St. John’s- Whether the General thinks young CUGNET entitled to be taken notice of, I will not pretend to say- ECCAYER, I am told, has a Youth of sixteen for a son, who promises well, if some Provision could be made for him, it would be a great Ease to this Father, who is very deserving. Monsr. ST. HUBERT the Superior of the Seminary has a Brother, who has been at Sea, and was on Board of the Sloop Hope, Commanded by BOUCHET, with whom He is now gone up; He is desirous of being employed as a Seaman. This is all I can recollect at Present. If any more occur to my memory I shall send up their names by the first Opportunity-
