NEW-YORK, Friday last departed this life Patrick STEWART, Esq. a Captain in the British Legion; a gentleman greatly esteemed by his acquaintance in general, and particularly endeared to the corps in which he served, by the gentleness and uprightness of his manners, and by his gallantry, zeal and ability as an officer. His remains were interred on Sunday last in St. Paul's Church Yard, with the usual military honours.
