FOREDYCE. hopes that you Honorable Gentlemen will take it into Consideration havin Lost all he had & in great Distress at this Time being that he ran great Hazards of his Life & taken besides His property & was taken Prisoner at the great Bridge Virginea Portsmouth in America & was there Confin’d about six Months the Other six Months he liv’d in the Woods & then Enter’d into His Britanick Majestys Service George the Third in Charles Town America & having Lost all I had in the World 4 Chests of Cloaths 20 Hogs 4 Feather Beds & Furniture And Now in very great Fistress Therefore Gentlemen I hope your Honors will take it into Consideration as I dare not go into my Own Country Again having serv’d His Britianick Majesty George the Third He Likewise Lost 250 Dollars He is A free Black serv’d his Time with John Griffin Sawyer in America & very willing to serve His Britinack Majesty Again John DANIEL Virginea in America December in the Year of our Lord 1775 And he Peter ANDERSON will ever be bound to Pray for You & Yours—
