The Memorial of Gabrael FOWLER Humbly Sheweth That your Memorialist Resided at Westchester County in the Province of N. York untill the unhappy Dissentions in America and for His Loyalty to His Majesty and Attachment to the British Government was obliged To leave my Home and and [sic] flee to the British Troops at N. York in 76 thair Joind. the armey in the Gides & Poinears went to the Suthard and Servd. for one year and got my Discharge from Said Ridgment went back to N. York Tuck a part at the out loins with Majr. BAIRMORE Who Had the first Command of the Morrescena Refegees and Servd. as an Insign was unhappily taken Prisnor and Confined Cloas for Eighteen months after Suffering all that time was Exchanged Returned to Sd. Morriscena and Served for the Remainder till the Peace as a Capt. Leut. in Col. DELANCEYS [torn]. Your memorialist their four prays that your Honors will be pleased to take into Consideration your memorialists Case and Grant him Such a compensation for his losses & Services as Shall appear to your Honours to be Right and just according to Evidence laid before you. And your Memorialist as in duty bound Shall Ever pray
