The Memorial of Neil McGEACHY late of North Carolina Humbly Sheweth That Your Lordships Memorialist moore than two Years ago, gave in to Your Lordships a full State of his Services in America, during the war Certificates of which, and his being appointed to Governor MARTIN, a Lieutenant to an Independent Company, and receiving pay as Such, he left with his Agent here (being under the Necessity of Going to North Britain himself) in order to Lay them before Colonel DELANCEY, when Similar Claims should be referred to him by your Lordships. Your Memorialist’s Agent, having Neglected to give in the Certificates in Support of his Claim, for which reason Colonel DeLANCEY could not report favourably thereon by which Your Lordships Memorialist is disappointed and still remains unprovided for. Your Memorialist having Since produced the Certificates to Colonel DeLANCEY, who has recommended to Lay them before Your Lordships by Memorial. Your Memorialist therefore Humbly begs leave to Annex a Coppy of the Certificates, and most earnestly entreat Your Lordships may be pleased to Order the same for the investigation of Colonel DeLANCEY; and Grant him the same Indulgence which has been already Given to Others with similar pretensions which is all the Justice he requires and which he hopes to obtain.
