This is to Certify that Lieut. ATKINSON joined the Earl of Dunmore, Early in 1776, in company with his Father, who brought with him a number of men, for His Majesty's Service-- That I have often been informed, that Mr. ATKINSON's Father, who fell in the service, was a man of fortune, in Maryland-- That Mr. ATKINSON served, from the time of his joining His Lordship, to the End of the war, in the Queens Rangers, from its formation to its reduction (a Considerable time in my Company) and that, in the End of 1783, I left him in America, in a very bad State of health, owing to the very severe and fatiguing Services, that he was Exposed to, in that Corps--
