London November 23d 1786 I do herby certify, that Lieut. Wm. ATKINSON Joined me together with his Father, & a Considerable body of men Early in 1776 from Maryland, where I allways understood that, they, had considerable Property; That the Father fell in Action in His Majesty's Service; That they both took a zealous, uniform, Active part in the King's Service, and I realy think Mr. Wm. ATKINSON well deserving of Every attention from Government; and hope that the very unfortunate situation of his helth, arising from his zealous services, will be no bar to his Just Claims being heard by His Majesty's Comrs. for American Claims--
