These may Certify that I knew the bearer Mr. Adam WALKER before the rebellion. That he was a reputable blacksmith in the Town of Worcester. That formerly he was in his Majestys Military Service in which I have often heard he distinguished himself by his fidelity & bravery and that he now has a ball in his hand which he got in an engagement during the rebellion when he was supporting the Royal Cause to which I have no doubt he was always true to.
