To all whom these presents shall come be seen or made known I Enoch PLUMMER Lieut. in His Majesty's 69th Regt. of foot, for and in Consideration of the faithful Services of my Negro women [sic] Slave nam'd Rose and other good Qualities Causes & Considerations me hereunto moving.

I the said Enoch PLUMMER have Manumitted enfranchised and Set at Liberty the Mulatto Child of the said Rose named James Aged about four months, and warrant his Liberty against all Claims whatever.
