Formation of a Light Infantry Company

Sir

In consequence of your orders to me, directed to form a Company of Light Infantry out of my Battalion agreeable to the Commander in Chiefs Orders, I have comply’d with the same, and Appointed Capt. James SHAW Ensigns, REID and JOUETT to command the Company, the Company being now form’d wait further Orders.

I have the Honour to be with respect
