Opinion on Bryan's Memorial

On Colonel Samuel BRYAN's Memorial-

As the name of the Memorialist does not appear in the list of Seconded Officers left by the late Commander in Chief, and his services are unknown to Sir Guy CARLETON, he cannot give an opinion on the justness of his claim to half pay from the 1st of Feb: 1776, to the 30th June 1780, a period prior to his taking the Command of this Army.

The Officers under whom the Memorialist served, and who are best able to decide upon it, are in Europe.

By order of The Commander in Chief
Fredk. MACKENZIE
D. A. Genl.
