Head Qrs. Montreal 30th May 1782

Sir

His Excellency the Commander in Chief is pleas’d to Order that the Company commanded by Captn. John MEYERS be Compleated with Non Commissioned Officers and Men from the Supernumerarys of ye Corps of Loyal Rangers, and to form the Ninth Company of that Corps under the Command of Major Edward JESSUP.

Lieut. John RIUTTER & Ensign Harms. BEST from ye Company of Pensioners are Appointed Officers to this Company.

A Tenth Company to be added to the Said Corps to be Commanded by Lieut. Thomas FRASER, as Captain. The Supernumery Non Commissioned Officers and Men still remaining are to be in this Company, but the Company or Officers are not to be mustered as such untill Compleated.

Lieut. James ROBINS and Ensign William LAMSON from the Company of Pensioners are Appointed Officers to this Company.
