General Return of Vessels, Stock & other Articles taken from the Rebels by the Associated Refugees & other Loyalists between the Comencement of the Association & the 10th June 1779.

February 1779-      Narriganset [? faded]-

     1 Sloop, 19 Oxen & Cows, 166 Sheep.

February 1779-      Prudence-

     102 Horses.

April 6th 1779-       Nantucket-

     2 Brigantines, 2 Schooners, 8 Boats.

April 26th 1779-     Noman's Land-

     2 Oxen & Cows, 580 Sheep, 200 Lambs.

May 8th 1779-        Point Judith-

     2 Boats, 53 Oxen & Cows, 1000 Sheep, 400 Lambs, 15 Calves.

May 19th 1779-      Narishawn-

     32 Horses.

May 21st 1779-      Quidnecit-

     29 Oxen & Cows, 17 Sheep, 11 Hogs, 6 Lambs, 8 Calves.

June 6th 1779-       South Kingston-

     35 Oxen & Cows, 80 Sheep, 36 Lambs, 15 Calves.

Total-

     2 Brigantines, 2 Schooners, 1 Sloop, 10 Boats, 134 Horses, 138 Oxen & Cows, 1843 Sheep, 11 Hogs, 642 Lambs, 38 Calves.

Sundries-

     1 Cargoe Tobacco & Lumber and 1 Cargoe Lumber on board Brigs, 16 vessels sails, 180 Casks oyl, 12 Cass. Whale Bone, 3 tons Barr iron, 3 tons Cordage, 15 Hhds molasses, 2 bbls sugar, 1 Cask refind. Spermalaste [?], 15 Bbls Beef, 1 Cask Pearl Ash, & variety of small articles.

     42 stands of Small-Arms with Bayonets & Cartouch Boxes.

     Prisoners at different times 35 among whom are some persons of considerable Note.

Newport 10th June 1779

In the subsequent excursions thirteen prizes were taken by the Refugee Vessels 3 of 'em arm'd Vessels. Accot. of sales of property taken from the Rebels amounts by the Agents certificate to £ 23,427/18/ 6 Sterlg.     Septr. 16., 1779.
