St. Georges Manor Long Island Sir I beg Leave to inform you of my Saife arrival at this Place on Saturday Last with a Party of Refugees, have Landed our Stores and met with no interruption to this time- I could not obtain the Ten Stand of Arms from his Majesty's Stores before I left New York, therefore now take the Liberty to Request you'll be pleased to order them to Mr. Elias QUEREAU bearer hereof who is to Return here with a Suitable Vessel for our Use and such an addition of men as are Ready- I likewise beg you will be pleas'd to Order to be deliverd. to Mr. QUEREAU four, four pound cannon with Carriages & Ammunition with the Necessary Implements belonging to them- In my next I propose to make a return of men as I Expect very Soon to have my full Compliment, & am most Respectfully
