Formation Orders

After Orders 2 OClock August 21st 1777

Lieutenant General Sir Henry CLINTON having Signified his Pleasure to Major Genl TRYON for having a Company of Chasseurs to be under the Command of Captain EMERICK, form'd Immediately from the Provincial Corps consisting of 4 Serjeants, 4 Corporals, 1 Drum, and 100 Privates-    The Commanding Officers of Corps are Requested to give in a return to the Major of Brigade, of the Number of Volunteers they can furnish respectively by to morrow at Orderly Time.
