Lieut. & Adjutant McDONALD & Quar. Master MURRAY of the 84th Regiment tried at the General Court Martial of which Brigadier Genl. POWELL is president, for behaving unbecoming the Character of Gentlemen.

The Court after mature consideration is unanimously of Opinion that the said Lieut. and Adjutant McDONALD & Quarter Master MURRAY are not guilty of the Crime laid to their charge and therefore do Acquit them.

His Excellency the Commander in Chief is pleased to approve of the said Sentence and to order them to join their Corps without delay.
