Witness on Behalf of William Atkinson of Maryland

This is to Certify that Lt. ATKINSON, a Gentleman of Property of the Province of Maryland served during the war in the Queen's Rangers, under my Command, with Great Zeal & Spirit, and that his Health was materially injured by the hardships and fatigues that He underwent in that Active Service, and that both from his Family merits, His father being Killed in the Kings service, and his own behaviour, he is deserving of Every countenance and Protection from Government--
